Turn it on and the binder on your device and any backup you download are encrypted with AES-GCM. The key is derived from your passphrase with PBKDF2-SHA256 over a random salt, never leaves your device, and the passphrase is stored nowhere. There is no reset link, no backup key and nobody at Darzen can open it: lose the passphrase and the contents are gone. Write it somewhere other than the binder. The spreadsheet editions cannot lock themselves. No field holds a password, a PIN or an account number, so nothing in it can move money.
