Terms of service

These terms apply when you visit www.darzenstore.com or buy a Darzen product. The store is operated by Darzen ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these terms, our Refund policy and our Privacy policy.
1. What you buy
Each Darzen digital product includes three editions: a web App, a Google Sheets edition and an Excel edition. The product page describes what each one does. You can try the full App with sample data in the live demo before you buy.
2. Your license
When you buy a product, you get a personal, non-transferable license for one person to use it. You can:
- use the product for your own personal or business records;
- sign in to the App on up to two devices at a time, and remove a device in your Darzen account to add another;
- keep the Excel files and your Google Sheets copy for as long as you hold the license.
You may not share your login, resell, give away or publish the files or the App, or offer them as your own templates, changed or unchanged.
3. Delivery and your login
After payment, we email a Darzen username and password to the address you used at checkout. Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity under your login, and we may suspend a login that is shared or used to break these terms.
4. Updates
Updates to a product you bought are free, with no subscription. We may improve, change or remove features over time.
5. Your data
The App keeps your data in your browser on your device, and we do not receive it. The spreadsheet editions live in your own Google Drive or on your computer. Clearing your browser data removes the App's data, so use the App's backup option to keep a copy. You are responsible for keeping backups of your data.
6. Not professional advice
Darzen products help you organize and track your own information. They do not give tax, financial, legal, medical or other professional advice, and results depend on the numbers you enter. Check important figures and decisions with a qualified professional.
7. Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars. Taxes, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment partners, and we do not see or store your full card details.
8. Refunds
Digital products are final sale. See our Refund policy for what we do if a product doesn't work as described.
9. Books
Darzen books are sold and delivered by Amazon, under Amazon's own terms.
10. Ownership
The products, designs, text, images and code on this site belong to Darzen and are protected by copyright and other laws. Buying a product gives you a license to use it, not ownership of it.
11. Other services
Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel are products of their owners. Darzen is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Microsoft. You need your own access to these services to use those editions.
12. No warranty
Our products are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those stated in these terms.
13. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Darzen is not liable for indirect or consequential losses or for loss of data, and our total liability for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid for it.
14. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be waived.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, except where the law of the country you live in gives you rights that cannot be waived.
16. Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted here, with its date, applies to orders placed after that date.
