Yours, mine and ours. One fair balance.
Stop keeping score in your head. Darzen Couples Money splits every shared cost by the rule you agree on, 50/50, by income or your own %, and shows one clear number: who owes whom. Shared bills, goals and a monthly money date live in the same place, and the Google Sheet is made to share.
- The App, Google Sheets and Excel in one purchase
- Share the Google Sheet with your partner and both edit it live
- Split 50/50, by income or your own %, and change it for any single cost
- One price, free updates, no monthly fee

Why it works
Built for two people and one budget.
-
Share it live with your partner
The Google Sheets edition is the one couples share. Make your copy, click Share, add your partner, and you both see and edit the same numbers on a computer or phone.
-
A split you both agreed on
Pick 50/50, by income or your own %. Change it for a single cost, like a gift for one side of the family. Each partner's part fills in on its own.
-
One clear balance
Every shared cost and settle-up adds up to one number: who owes whom, and how much. Settle up and it goes back to zero. Joint-account payments are already shared, so they stay out of it.
-
Shared bills that show up
List rent, utilities and subscriptions once. See what is paid and what is due this month, and add them all to your calendar with a reminder.
-
A monthly money date
Collect topics as they come up, then talk them through once a month. Move each one from To talk about to Agreed to Done.
-
Three editions, one price
The App, Google Sheets and Excel all come with every purchase. Use the Google Sheet together, keep the App on your laptop, or open the Excel file.
Everything in Couples Money

A few good answers
Questions, answered.
Delivery, devices, updates and your data. Still curious? We reply to every email.
Ask us a questionHow do I get my files?
Right after checkout we email you a Darzen username and password. Sign in to your Darzen account to download the App and the Excel files, and to make your own copy of the Google Sheets edition.
Which edition should we use?
All three come with every purchase. To share live with your partner, use Google Sheets: you both open the same sheet. The App feels like software and works offline on one device, and Excel is a file you keep.
Can we both use it at the same time?
Yes, with the Google Sheets edition. Make your copy, click Share and add your partner, and you both see and edit the same sheet live. The App keeps its data on one device, so it suits one of you keeping the books, or you can move a backup file between devices.
How does the split by income work?
Each of you types your take-home pay a month. Shared costs are then split in proportion: if one of you brings home 60% of the total, they carry 60% of each shared cost. Pick 50/50 or your own % instead, for the whole household or for a single cost. It is a planning tool, and the split is a suggestion you agree on.
Which version of Excel do I need?
Excel 2010 or later on Windows and Mac, or Excel for the web. The workbook has no macros.
Does the App need the internet?
Only once, to sign in with the login we email you. After that it opens from the file on your device and works offline.
Where is our data kept?
The App keeps it in the browser on your own device, never on our servers, and nothing connects to a bank. The Google Sheets copy lives in your own Google Drive. Save an App backup in one click and restore it on any device or browser.
Does it work on my phone?
The App works in your phone's browser and the Google Sheets edition works in the Sheets app, so you can both check the shared sheet on your phones. Sign in to the App on up to two devices.
How do updates work?
Updates are free. When a new version is ready, it appears in your Darzen account and the App tells you.
Can I get a refund?
See our refund policy, linked next to the price. Try the live demo first so you know exactly what you are getting.
One app. One Google Sheet. One Excel workbook.
