Plan the week. Shop once.
Darzen Meals puts your recipes on a weekly board and turns the plan into one grocery list. It scales each recipe to the servings you plan, adds up the same items, takes off what is already in your pantry and groups the rest by aisle.
- The App, Google Sheets and Excel in one purchase
- Drag recipes onto a seven-day board, with Undo on every change
- A grocery list that adds itself up and knows your pantry
- One price, free updates, no monthly fee

Why it works
Built for a busy household.
-
Three editions, one price
Use the App on your laptop and phone, keep the Google Sheet in your Drive, or open the Excel file. All three come with every purchase.
-
A week you can drag
Drag a recipe from the shelf onto any day and meal, move meals between days, or copy last week in one click. Every change can be undone.
-
One grocery list, added up
Each recipe is scaled to the servings you plan, then the same items are added together. Different units stay on their own lines, so nothing gets mixed up.
-
It knows your pantry
Keep a list of what you have at home. In-stock items come off the grocery list, and anything you mark as out goes back on it.
-
See where the money goes
Estimated food cost for every recipe, serving and week, from your own price estimates. Spot the expensive weeks before you shop.
-
Your recipes stay private
The App keeps your data in your own browser, never on our servers. Back it up in one click and restore it on any device.

A few good answers
Questions, answered.
Delivery, devices, updates and your data. Still curious? We reply to every email.
Ask us a questionHow do I get my files?
Right after checkout we email you a Darzen username and password. Sign in to your Darzen account to download the App and the Excel files, and to make your own copy of the Google Sheets edition.
Which edition should I use?
All three come with every purchase, so you do not have to choose. The App feels like software, works offline and keeps recipe photos. Google Sheets lives in your Google account, and Excel is a file you keep.
Which version of Excel do I need?
Excel 2010 or later on Windows and Mac, or Excel for the web. The workbook has no macros.
Does the App need the internet?
Only once, to sign in with the login we email you. After that it opens from the file on your device and works offline.
Where is my data kept?
In the browser on your own device, never on our servers. Save a backup file in one click and restore it on any device or browser.
How does the grocery list handle different units?
It adds up the same item in the same unit, like cups of milk from two recipes. Different units stay on separate lines, so 1 cup and 1 gallon are never mixed. If your pantry has the item in the same unit, only the difference goes on the list.
Does it count calories or nutrition?
No. Darzen Meals plans meals, recipes and shopping. It does not track calories or nutrients and does not give diet or health advice. Costs are your own estimates.
Does it work on my phone?
The App works in your phone's browser, and you can drag meals with a long press. The Google Sheets edition works in the Sheets app. Sign in on up to two devices.
How do updates work?
Updates are free. When a new version is ready, it appears in your Darzen account and the App tells you.
Can I get a refund?
See our refund policy, linked next to the price. Try the live demo first so you know exactly what you are getting.
One app. One Google Sheet. One Excel workbook.
